Meara Razon
Program Manager - Dor Chadash - NY
Meara@DorChadashUSA.org
As the daughter of an Israeli father and an American mother, Meara truly understands what it is to be an Israeli/American hybrid. Meara moved back to the States after studying, working and volunteering in Israel for 4 years. This past August, Meara completed an M.A. in Non-Profit Management from Rothberg at Hebrew University.  During the two of her four years in Israel, Meara worked for OTZMA as a Logistic Coordinator, arranging activities, educational programs and internships for the volunteers.

Prior to moving to Israel Meara lived and worked in Miami for Young Judaea and the Jewish Agency promoting Israel programs at High Schools and College campuses.

Meara is excited to be the Program Manager at Dor Chadash because it gives her the opportunity to plan programs and to be part of such a unique community in NYC. Speaking Hebrew during the day is an added bonus.

Danielle graduated with her Masters in Counseling and Personnel Services from Fordham University and has been coaching clients on dating and nutritional issues ever since. Danielle is half Israeli and loves everything that has to do with Israel. She grew up speaking Hebrew, eating bourekas and is what Dor Chadash calls a "hybrid". Passionate about the Jewish community, she has been involved with creating events that bring Israeli culture to the NYC area for the last two years. An entrepreneur at heart, Danielle founded a small business called Nature's Creation, where clients receive personal consultations on aromatherapy and natural skincare products from Israel.  Danielle is also Co-Founder of Compass Matchmakers, her newest endeavor where she matchmakes between friends in the Jewish Community. Danielle loves Dor Chadash and feels it is a place that offers her a home to express both her Israeli and American sides. “DC is great! There is nowhere else where I can speak both Hebrew and English in the same sentence!”
